Nearly 6 months ago, I met a young lady that had experienced “organizational stress” as I had, once upon a time. We talked, laughed, breathed deep and realized that as far as ministry was concerned, we had more in common than in difference. Bondage Breakers, Inc. has worked faithfully and tirelessly in several venues with the marginalized, disenfranchised population.
The one venue that we have passion and regret for in our 10 years of offering service to our teenagers in Dan Street Juvenile Detention Center. Through the acquaintance and memorandum of understanding, Bondage Breakers, Inc. and FADIA under the tuteleage of Mrs. Yvette Lloyd, we now have a cogent cooperating ministry that offers young ladies personal development once released.
We have deemed this project: Laying a Faithful Cooperative Foundation for Future Generations. FADIA will provide wrap around support services that will empower young women everywhere, which is part of their “tag line”. The program will offer continued mentorship, live group sessions, personal development and preparation for adulthood. This is the follow through that Bondage Breakers, Inc. efforts had always prayed for. God does answer prayer!
In addition to FADIA and their program, Mrs. Tresha Orr-Prim has joined the BBI team and offers her expertise in mentoring and tutoring the young ladies “inside” prior to their release. We are grateful for both women and God gets the glory. Any young lady 6-16 years of age will also be eligible for the Bondage Breakers, Inc. Summer Camp, August 12-16, 2019. Stay tuned to the website for more information.
